School News
Sugarcreek Elementary School had their own version of the Macy's Day Parade in November!
The students worked hard designing and decorating their balloons for the parade. Before the parade, the students attended a concert in the gym with guest performers from the KC High School and one of our very own substitute teachers!
In addition to a breakfast at no charge, the Karns City Area School District will provide all students with a lunch at no charge, effective December 1, 2023. This change results from the school district implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provision as part of our participation in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs. Click here for more information.
Karns City students in AP US History, AP World History and Art 3&4 recently took a field trip to the Carnegie Museum!
November 16th was Children's Grief Awareness Day. Students and staff were given the chance to honor their loved ones by creating a blue butterfly. Some chose to write the name of their loved one, share a memory, or write who that person was to them.
These blue butterflies are on display in the Jr. Sr. High School.
Karns City High School chemistry and physics students recently attended the Faraday Lecture at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Pittsburgh. The Faraday Lecture included exciting demonstrations about a variety of chemistry and physics topics.
Hey Karns City! We need your help! Please vote for the Karns City Band in the Fourth Annual Battle of the High School Marching Bands.
These students have worked so hard this year and we are so proud of them! Per the radio station, voting for any of our 3 videos counts as a vote for KC. Please vote as many times as you can.
Thank you for your support!
