Summer School Application

Students who fail one or more courses are able to enroll in online courses, through a provider called Edgenuity, to recover the credits.  Edgenuity’s credit recovery courses are designed to help all learners achieve their full potential and graduate on time with their closest peers. These courses allow students to learn the material they need to know to move to the next grade level, while still receiving a high-quality education that prepares them for life beyond high school. Students will have access to a Success Coach as well as daily tutoring through Edgenuity.

Registration for credit recovery is due by June 3rd.  Classes begin on June 6th and end on July 14th.  The self-paced learning and pretesting allow students to spend more time on what they need and less time on what they’ve already mastered.  There is no fee to participate in this program.  However, if the student does not receive a passing grade, they will have to repeat the class during the school year.

Students may complete the summer courses at home.  Students who need a Chromebook to complete their credit recovery courses can do so by contacting the high school office at 724-756-2030, x1030.

If you have any questions or you would like to register for Summer School, please contact the guidance office at 724-756-2030, x1025.
